STEPPING UP TO VOLIATED EXPECTATION:
When people actually cut the line in front, no body spoke not a single person. You have to put someone life’s in danger before innocent observer speaks.
IT’S MATH THING:
If hold accountable physician can become annoyed, even offended, Haven knows that incurring the wrath of physician. Plus there is a chance that disease will not passed away so easily, than maybe doctor actually did wash the hands.
THE SILENT MAJORITY:
People don’t speak up to individual who are voliating a promise, breaking a commitment, behaving badly, or otherwise not living up to expectation. 74 people died because of fear of not brining up because it looks too forceful.
DEALING WITH DISPOINTMENT:
Subject explaining they don’t want to act like the jerk whom they observed bluntly dealing with line cutter. They had no desire to behave like a thug, nor they want ugly confrontation that might follow verbal attack. Most people have been let down, left holding bag until eventually tire of other disappointing them, then one day the problem re-emerge, and they blow a gasket, they trade silence for their faviourite verbal volience. And then bad things happened.
Tounge lashing seems to be going well until you noticed everyone staring you. Not the guy keep breaking the commitment, you have become the bad person. And you concluded it is best to keep silent than look the fool.
You seems to be trapped with two bad alternative, prepatuate the problem by saying nothing, or speak up and create the new problem.
I’m sorry perhaps you are not aware that we have been standing the line for 30minutes. It changes the mental math.
CRUCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
But what if you pointed out the broken promise and other person isn’t motivated to do the correct thing. Or she doesn’t know what to do, bring up new issue, or get upset.
POSITIVE DEVIANCE:
THe first camp of leader created the good moral but they rearely hold anyone accountable so achieved only mediocare result. The second camp leader could solve the problem all right but by deamening and threatening in a way that created low morale and poor result. The final group found a way to be honest and respectful and rarely invoke their formal authority.
What’s the big deal, I tried but couldn’t figure out how to use the software, who died and left you incharge.
