Learning of the day #26. The discomfort of the parties.

Yesterday I went to sandeep’s place. As I would have expected it was people including me trying hard to talk to each other.

I bidappa and how’s are you. the next charan and where you were. On the corner Arvinind and Vaidy talking completely non sense kind of thing somehow surviving. Then I shake hand with Sandeep. Her wife greeted me with a little discomfort. Medha and her friend. Then I met Swati. Then Lin and her friend and then the finance guy and his wife.

Almost everyone was trying to pretend to be comfortable but hardly was. I was probably the most comfortable guy in the room.

Actually it wasn’t bad. I get to meet Charan, Arvind, Bidappa, Sandeep, Vadiy, Medha. I could make good conversation and catchup if I was interested.

Then I met so many new people that I could be making friends with or get to know more closely.

Then if I like I could practice my skills of creating safety.

Although I was little bit too funny maybe out of comfort, which could have make sandeep who was feeling a bit insecure might defensive as I wasn’t taking something very serious and for them it might have been serious matter.

It was actually good opportunity, if you have any social interest. In general if you are invited attend it.
