Retreat #04 : Awareness
Vipassana:
Practice-
- Focus on breath
- Observe the sensations with equanimity and understanding of impermanence.
Logic-
- Attachment and aversions are happening at the level of sensations.
How-
- You become equanimous to ever-changing sensations.
- Your past Samskara comes and if you stay centered they pass away too.
Final -
- You become established in the awareness and then eventually fallback.
The effect I see -
- I am constantly arising on the awareness, and the object in front of me are getting subtler.
Sandeep -
Practice-
- Inquiry on who am I? and What I am not? repeatedly going through the scripture and seeing the truth inside.
Logic-
- The real problem is ignorance, and you have identified yourself with the body, but you are not the body.
How-
- Sravan | Manan | Nidhidhysana
- You listen to scripture and sages, contemplate and then
- You do the self inquiry and see inside yourelf.
Final-
- You get established in self, and realise you are complete and don’t need anything. Infect you are everything.
The Effect I see-
- The time I listen it, I seems to get it and even able to see it, but then it slips again.
