Social #00 - The Compassion and sharing.

Compassion said Buddha is our true nature hidden by the clouds of delusions. At our core, there is a common ground. We are all trying to be happy and avoid suffering, it is just that we all have different ideas of how to do it. Some believe an object like a big house or fancy car can do this, some believe competing and winning against each other can do it, some believe another person can do it… How can you hate other people, when you know we are all doing the same thing? And what makes me think my idea is better than others?

When we have more than enough, we naturally start to share unless eclipsed by our deluded concepts of happiness or threat to our personal security. Who would say no to giving an advice on his subject of expertise. We love to give advice. Sharing makes us feel good, makes us feel meaningful. There is a natural sugar in it.

We can choose not share and grasp on our resources. The choice is ours. Maybe sometimes we need a little grasping to understand natural dissatisfaction of it. The underlying expectation is if a little of it is making me feel this good, a lot of it will make me feel extremely good. Enough food makes us feel satisfied, a lot make us sick. We need to have enough before sharing.

The more we grasp the more expectations we have. When there are expectations there is a tension. This tension motivates us to work accompanied by the feeling of fatigue and agitation, but this tension is not the only motivator. We have a natural inspiration to express ourselves, to share and care about each other accompanied by the feeling of love manifested as ease and laughter.
