The Anxiety
This is the real killer in the social game, because it actually blocks the intellectual brain itself. it doesn’t matter how much you know, If you can’t access it. so why it comes at the first place and how much control I have over it !
it is a subconscious thing, so I actually have zero direct control over it. but it kind of connect directly to my self respect. If I am feeling low self esteem the same situation provoke much more anxiety. it is also clearly a biological misfiring of flight response. so automatically the better I understand the situation subconsciously and more self esteem I have, it automatically reduces.
it also connected to uncertainty and health. so once you start to get familiar with certain situations. it automatically subsided.
it is also a hot emotion, which kind of misbalance the internal harmony and than start to fade. so it is actually worse in the beginning. and than after some time I get full control over me. so a common sense approach is resolve to not speak much until it is in the system. interestingly this must be happening in person infront of you as well.
and than the nature of it is very impermanent. it doesn’t really do much damage and lifecycle is very short term.
so here is a situation you are walking to a place to meet a person and the anxiety triggered. now what !! obviously you are unable to do any critical thinking at the moment. and it is making the situation awkward. what you need to realize is. it is normal and happens to everyone. it has actually nothing to do with me just a process. and reframe the reality. I think it would be super awkward in the beginning. but I guess it could be nice strategy. the second thing could be to reverse the non verbal behavior. and than lets see If I can actually put my entire focus in understanding person in front of me. the most stupid thing I can do is actually make more and more comments.
