The Mayank Case.

So In the last batch, I didn’t pay attention to this guy Mayank, and it came back and bit me. Infect all the people in the last quartile Venkatesh, Mayank Vishvjeet performed poorly.

With the mayank, his output was very poor, his behavior was not so good and I made a mistake to let him pass through. He has a job and he didn’t perform right and it was my job to make sure he does that. My own bar was may be quiet low.

Another aspect was that it was my first batch, and it is aspected that I will make the mistakes. When ever you are doing something new there is very likelyhood that you will end up making mistakes. Infect it is the good sign that you are learning.

My general bar of expectations were low as well. I am happy with bharath but not many other people. and I am the one who is holding them accountable. where in real life they just fire them.

Then these people were not very serious about the life, there attitude was poor in term of what is expected from them.

Another thing was that I was strong and they just followed for some time and then they go back to their normal life.

So the lesson learned.

• Don’t let the poor behavior or no work pass through.
• Keep your bar of expectation high.
• Look for lack of seriousness or bad attitude towards life.
• Do not force them to perform
• Act on the basis of data, not based on your intuition.
