The moment to moment awareness.
The battle is eternal and bi-directional. It needs to be fought a fresh everyday. And you win a little more space everyday. And little by little you won the war within you, with pertinence and preservence like a warrior.
There is a moment when there is suggestion lets sleep longer, lets call Lin, lets call akhil, lets eat pizza, lets play with your libido. If given up the voice start to increase its demand. No physical unease and mind is concentrated yet the voice says lets rest we have been working for 5 months.
It is the classic case of temptation impulse has gone and the promise is just dissatisfactory downhill, and then it just takes more and more effort to balance the state.
It is the past samkaras the dilluded idea of happiness. That I deeply know is unsatisfactory. It is the junction of self mastery vs. Giving up the battle. It is the opportunity to master that weakness.
Sometime I don’t feel inspired because I hit the point where I am not clear about what to do next, haven’t moved forward in a while, wrong calibration or missing the target. It again the opportunity to master this area of how to stay focused. As the major movement there is not trace of doubt in terms of what is important.
So in the moment you are feeling physical or mental fatigue, generally the design of the day is such that I am accommodating for extreme so this should not happen at the first place. See what creates the fatigue.
Although If you have slipped into the area of reaction trap, meditate there is no other better way. It is the process of letting it run its course, no video or YouTube or anything. Let it run it’s course and then recenter. You can also do physical yoga.
If you are not feeling inspiried meditate on the four qurdent and how today’s goal moving you towards it.
If you are physically sound, mentally concentrated and clear about what is important and needs to be done today, there is no reason of listen to senseless mental advices and should move focused. Or if the mind is noisy in such cases this is the time you learn the pattern of it and master it.
As simple as that
- If mind is concentrated, body is at ease and you are clear and there is clear calibrated goals strike it.
- if physical discomfort take rest
- if mental discomfort observe that or do meditation
- if lacking inspiration, do the clarity mediation or readjust the goal.
The alternative is to mindlessly react on impulses, play with libido, run away, watch youtube, gmail… put your self in a deeper discomfort and then come out of it.
