The Price of a Praise

How would you feel standing in front of 1000 people and giving an an extra ordinary speech. People are mesmerzied and hanging on every single word of yours. Every body is admiring you wishing and thinking how lucky they would be only if they can talk to you. They are clapping, shouting, screaming for you. How would that feel, Wouldn’t that feel nice. Wouldn’t you feel proud. Wouldnt you play that in your head over and over. Wouldn’t it feel beautiful. But when we see beauty in something ugliness is created.

And it feels so good that we start to cling to it,

Ladies and gentleman, praise and liking make us feel significant, important, powerful. So we start to cling on it, crave for it, want more of it. but we often overlook the toxic byproduct of that craving.

Object oriented communication.

The smallest unit of the communication is the object. It can be an abstract or concrete. Fundamentally a person has some sort of relationship with that object. And communication happens based on that object. For one person another person can be the object.

identifying the objects - - the first basic step is to identitfy the objects in the communication.

similar and subobject - moving from object to similar objects and subobject.

introduce and remove objects - you must be able to introduce and remove the objects from the conversation.

objects and the learn - I like it, I hate it, you like it you hate it. What is it?, why it is so, this is why it is, it is this, can this object do this.

object and the play - teasing the object.

objects and share- moving the conversation from shallow to deeper object.

objects and ego - how tightly the person is holding that object.

Relationship.

She was looking amazing in those cute glasses and perfect dress and I was going to ask her phone number, I was ready just like table topics. I don’t wanna brag or anything but that day, I even took the bath. But here was this small problem. She used to come with this guy, he might be her boyfriend. But then again when you want something whole universe conspires. And universe did its job. She didn’t come with that punk. She came with her father.

Ladies and gentleman, toastmasters, when it comes to talking to a girl, most of the guys have no freaking clue what to do. I was not one of them. I was even worse. I wasn’t just clueless, but for some reason I still don’t understand, I was attracting a lot of gay people. Has anybody ever hit by a gay guy. You guys have no idea how does that feel.

The toastmaster Emcess introduction.

  1. Elveera - she is not of the most energetic person, she is one of the person in respect the most here, she is a teacher and student and it is a privilege to have her in our group.

  2. Abhijeet Bhaskar - One of those people who has a very strong grit once they decide something they do it. He is an IITian, He is surgically obsessed with time management Abhijeet.

  3. Tahseen - she is one the most confident speaker in the room, also one of the most youngest, she loves travelling, she is also very determined person who has recently lost more than 10 kg.

  4. Jitendra - he is collage student, he is moved to many schools. when it gets dark no body is watching, unlike normal people, he searches for cars and he loves driving.

  5. Subha - she has been a model and a doctor and a mother of a beautiful child. She is a self proclaimed shopaholic, and clearly has a good taste in fashion.
